1. Eligibility

To use GovPrepare, you must: Be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or guardian. Provide accurate and complete information when registering or booking. Use the Services only for lawful purposes in compliance with Canadian, U.S., and international laws. 

2. Services Offered

GovPrepare provides: Training & Workshops: Government-focused courses on leadership, cybersecurity, project management, and professional development. Advisory & Support Services: Guidance on forms, compliance, and public-sector readiness. Digital Tools: Free Resume Builder, secure document storage vault, and related resources. We may update, expand, or discontinue services at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your account with others. GovPrepare uses multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other safeguards to protect your account.

4. Payments & Refunds

Prices are listed in Canadian or U.S. dollars, as applicable. Payments are processed through PCI DSS Level 1–compliant third-party providers (GovPrepare does not store credit card data). Refunds for training programs or services can be provided. Please contact us at service@govprepare.com for reimbursement requests.

5. Data Security & Privacy

Your security is our priority. All documents are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). GovPrepare aligns with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PIPEDA, GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA standards. We do not sell personal data to third parties. By using our Services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All GovPrepare content (courses, materials, branding, logos, and platform features) is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without written permission. You retain ownership of documents you create or upload using our tools. 

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to: Upload unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content. Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others. Attempt to breach GovPrepare’s security systems. Use the Services to compete directly with GovPrepare. 

8. Disclaimers 

GovPrepare provides advisory, training, and educational resources. We are not a government agency and cannot guarantee approval of government applications, grants, or certifications. Our services are provided on an “as-is” basis, without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: GovPrepare shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in dispute.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you: Breach these Terms. Misuse or abuse the Services. Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting service@govprepare.com.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by local jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

GovPrepare reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
